The Cuyahoga Falls City School District’s community relations department is responsible for creating and maintaining regular, clear, transparent, and engaging communications both internally and externally.
The Coordinator of Community Relations is responsible for:
Website: The website is the hub for all information in our school district. All of our departments and schools have a page that provides information for both internal and external users. An additional website is linked on the District’s website that provides information and updates about the new 6-12 campus.
Community Flyer Distribution and Signage: Organizations seeking to distribute materials within the Cuyahoga Falls City School District must have flyers and signage approved through the Coordinator of Community Relations. All flyers and signage must follow the policy regarding distribution of materials on campus. Please send a .pdf file of the flyer or signage to Christine Stewart at [email protected] for approval.
Social Media: Be a part of the conversation by connecting to your schools through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Follow our social media pages.

ParentSquare: Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, the District will be using the communications platform, ParentSquare for all communications. Families will receive information automatically through email, texts, and phone calls for emergency information and district updates. We encourage families to download the free app through the Apple and Android app stores and connect with their schools. If you are not receiving all-calls or emails or, if you are receiving all-calls in error, please call (330) 926-3800 ext. 502040 for assistance.
Publications: The community relations department publishes four internal and external quarterly newsletters per school year. The ROAR community newsletter is mailed to every household in the school district to highlight programs and events, provide financial updates from the treasurer, updates about the new 6-12 campus progress, and updates from the superintendent. Four times a year, the staff receive the internal newsletter, Tiger Tales, that highlights updates from every department.
Media Relations: The community relations department works with local and national media to ensure our community and region is informed about the great people, programs, successes, and challenges in the Cuyahoga Falls City School District. Please contact Christine Stewart for any inquiries from the media.
Crisis Communications: The Cuyahoga Falls City School District works with multiple departments to respond quickly and effectively in times of crisis. Areas include school safety, weather related events, illness, and other issues in our schools. In the event of a crisis, the community relations department will gather all information, confirm the accuracy, and communicate updates with families and media.
Community Engagement: Cuyahoga Falls City School District believes in 2-way communication, and works throughout the year to gather input on decisions that guide our work. Surveys, advisory committees, and business partnerships play an important role in our planning process.
Special Events: Celebrating student success is vital to building pride and unity in our district. Band performances, concerts, plays, athletics, literacy nights, art shows, academic programs, and informational events with district leaders exist throughout the year to welcome our community into our schools.
